Follow tracker
A follow tracker posts every new account that one X account starts following.
Trigger
Every 5 seconds, the bot checks the tracked account's Following list for new accounts.
When first created or re-armed, the bot reads the current Following list (roughly the most recent 300 accounts) without announcing anything. Only follows made after that moment announce.
New follows announce oldest-first, up to 3 per check. The bot remembers the last 1,000 accounts seen, so unfollowing and re-following one of those stays silent.
Setup
Setup, in order
- Open Dashboard → Beta → Automations with the bot selected.
- Click Add and pick Follow Tracker in the Which automation? picker — opens New Follow Tracker.
- Enter the tracked X handle. The dashboard looks it up and shows the account, or says the handle is invalid, not found on X, or private.
- Pick the destination group from Posts in group… — only groups already authorized for the bot are listed.
- Optional: add rules at the bottom of the same form — rules here are about the followed account.
- Click Create.
- Optional, from the saved automation's card: open the Topics icon to route its messages into a forum topic. There is no recap on a follow tracker.
